How Do I Use the Online Stopwatch?

Click the 'Start' button to begin timing. Click 'Stop' to pause. While stopped, the left button becomes 'Reset' to clear the timer back to zero. While running, the left button becomes 'Lap'.

What Are Laps For?

Clicking the 'Lap' button while the stopwatch is running records the time elapsed since the last lap was taken (or since the start). This lets you track split times for different segments of an activity without stopping the overall timer.

Does the Stopwatch Keep Running if I Switch Tabs?

The visual display might pause if the tab is inactive. However, the stopwatch uses your device's clock, so when you return to the tab, it should show the correct elapsed time. It also attempts to keep your screen active while running.
